2015 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis 2015 (WA88)
|Grape Variety:||Pinot Blanc|
|Wine Style:||Dry White, Medium to Full-Bodied|
Rating: Wine Advocate 88
The 2015 Chablis (Domaine) comes from 48 hectares of Fevre’s own vines located close to Premier and Grand Crus, the average age of vine is 40 years and the grapes are picked by hand. The nose is a little closed at first with hints of caramelized pear and a touch of white peach. The palate is clean and fresh, tightly wound and steely at the moment, with respectable salinity for a 2015. There is impressive definition and mineralité on the finish, considering this is a Village Cru. This comes recommended.
